Twilight Night: A Starry Preview of North Hills High School Musicals

A Starry Preview of local high school musicals called “Twilight Night” will take place on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Church in Allison Park (McCandless).  High school musical cast soloists will present songs from their upcoming musicals and give an exciting sneak peek of their shows in the spring.  The event is called “Twilight Night” because twilight is when stars first start appearing. Admission to the evening concert will be a give-what-you-can donation to North Hills Community Outreach, which provides food and financial help to those most in need in northern Allegheny County communities.

“Last year over 600 musical lovers, friends, neighbors and teachers came out to see the young performers!  There was a real sense of camaraderie in the air,” says Jim Lueers, Arts Director at Memorial Park Church.

Sharon Wolf, executive director of North Hills Community Outreach said, “The students are incredibly talented. We can’t wait for another fun event this year!”

Participating schools include Avonworth, Fox Chapel, Hampton, North Allegheny, Northgate, Pine Richland and Shaler school districts and Eden Christian Academy.  All are invited to come enjoy watching the stars come out!  Check out the website at www.memorialparkchurch.org for more info or to sponsor corporate program ads.
