As the only dealership in Western PA, The Wilson Group earns elite ranking for the second year
Pittsburgh is proud to rank among the top places to live and work in the United States from earning accolades in the health industry, technology, national sports leagues, and food. Now, The Wilson Group, printing equipment supplier and workflow services dealership, earns the nationally recognized AAA Platinum Level Service Provider Award from Sharp as the only dealership in Western PA to do so in the company’s second year running.
For 2021, only 15 dealerships have earned the AAA rating nationally, and The Wilson Group has taken home the AAA Platinum, the highest rating, as the only dealership in Pittsburgh. Overall, there are 800+ dealerships competing for these accolades at the North American level. 75 other dealerships have earned A to AA ratings and only 15 made the cut of AAA elite ratings.
“Among the 15 who earned the triple platinum, we are ranked with some of the biggest dealerships in the nation,” says David Hritz, The Wilson Group service manager. “It gives my service team a tremendous sense of pride as we are up against larger competitors.”
The program recognizes and rewards service organizations for exceeding performance benchmarks and implementing industry best practices. In order to make the list, organizations must show excellence in the following critical areas of service delivery:
• Using genuine Sharp parts and supplies
• Commitment to training
• Using remote diagnostic technology, and
• Timely updating of call tracking tickets
The Platinum Level Service Provider Award symbolizes meeting Sharp’s highest standards within each authorized service area. As an added bonus, it gives the sales team at The Wilson Group a competitive selling point as being the only company in Pittsburgh to have received this accolade.
“What it really means for my team is working together to be able to achieve that common goal to be nationally recognized,” says Hritz. “In my 32 years of working in the industry, I have never worked for a service department that was recognized in any way, let alone on a national level.”
